The Member Services Department of the NSTU provides contractual and legal assistance to members in the performance of their duties. These areas include but are not limited to: pension, group insurance, contract administration, grievances, arbitrations, legal, discipline, suspension, termination, discharge, occupational health and safety, and employment insurance (maternity and parental leave).
The Member Services Department is responsible for coordinating the negotiation of the Teachers' Provincial Agreement, the Community College Agreements (Faculty and Professional Support), Regional Agreements and APSEA.
